From the living room, an open tread spiral staircase leads to a 2nd double bedroom with balcony access and an open mezzanine floor furnished with set of bunk beds, a single bed and offering access to the same sunny, wrap-around balcony.

Outside, the 2-storey residence features on-site parking and offers carefree proximity to the Le Prarion ski lift (1-minute drive away) and centre of Les Houches (5 minutes’ drive away).

Location

Situated along ‘254 Allée des Diligences’, guests are placed a few metres away from the Le Prarion ski lift and 2-10 minutes’ walk from the ski school, the tennis club, train station and Lac des Chavants fishing lake. The centre of Les Houches is 5 minutes’ drive away, whilst the Equestrian centre is 9 minutes’ drive away.

Just 14 minutes’ drive away, famous Chamonix boasts a wealth of ski and winter pursuits, as well as a buzzing resort centre with a weekly local food market and plenty of grocery shops and supermarkets to take advantage of. A wide selection of world food restaurants, brasseries, cafes, fine dining and wine & tapas bars are also on hand to whet the appetite throughout the day and night. Those looking to enjoy a lively evening out will also be spoilt for choice; with a plethora of different bars and live music venues to accompany the resort’s nightclubs, lounge bars and microbreweries.

In the summertime, Chamonix is a great destination for hiking, mountaineering, rock climbing, riding, Adventure parks, paragliding and even water sports and golf; whilst in the wintertime, Chamonix provides the perfect setting for Skiing and Snowboarding; with schools, rental shops, pristine slopes, cross country routes and off-piste runs providing a great distraction for all abilities.
From the holiday apartment, Geneva Airport is just 65 minutes’ drive away, via the A40.

Not to be missed in Les Houches:

- In summer or in winter, take the Bellevue cable car or the Prarion cable car. You will discover breathtaking landscapes facing Mont Blanc.

- Merlet Animal Park (summer): Situated at 1500m, the Merlet Animal Park enjoys an exceptional southfacing location with a breath-taking panorama of the Mont-Blanc massif.

- Chavants leisure area: for short walks or a picnic. The Chavants lake offers an unobstructed view of the Mont Blanc massif. In summer (climbing wall, fishing, petanque, children’s games, rope climbing frame). In winter (cross-country skiing, snowshoeing route).
