Location
Chamonix is a popular resort situated in the French Alps at the base of Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in Europe. In addition to its world-class skiing and snowboarding, Chamonix also offers a range of other winter sports and activities, including cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice climbing, sledging and ice-skating.
The property is conveniently located a 12-minute walk (or 5-minute drive) from the Telecabine De Planpraz where guests can take the lift to Plan Praz at 2000m and then the cable car to Le Brévent at 2,525m. For access to the summit close to Mont Blanc the Aiguille du Midi cable car station is only a 4-minute walk away.
For even more excitement, visitors can head to the Accro Adventure Park (a 5-minute drive) where you can climb and zip-line through high trees. For those looking for something more relaxing, the QC Terme Spa (a 7-minute drive) might be a better option.
In the summer guests can enjoy hiking trails through the incredible mountain scenery, rock climbing, mountaineering, paragliding, white water rafting, a large outdoor pool and tennis.
The closest airport is Geneva (GVA) approximately a one hour and 10-minute drive away from the apartment, whilst Chamonix-Mont-Blanc station is just a 5-minute taxi ride away.
