Location
The apartment is in the heart of Chamonix, right on the riverbank, with many bistros, bars and clubs within easy reach. In the winter season, there is good access to the slopes, as Plan Praz Cable Car station is just a 15-minute walk from the building. The slopes are suitable for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. For expert skiers, the Aiguille du Midi cable car is also only a 15-minute walk from the apartment.
In the summer months, the high mountain meadows and hiking trails are easy to reach for hiking or mountain biking. There is also white-water rafting, rock climbing, golf and horse riding nearby.
For self-catering, try Chamonix’s weekly market (Saturday mornings) in Place du Mont-Blanc, a 15-minute walk away. Here you will find the best local ingredients and famous Savoyard cheeses to enjoy at home.
Geneva airport is a 1 hour, 10-minute drive from the apartment. Whilst Les Moussoux railway station is just an 8-minute walk.
