The " Nouveau Grassonnet lodge ", located just before Argentière, 7 km from Chamonix (10–15 minutes by car or shuttle), can accommodate around 40 people, with 5 triple rooms, 1 dormitory for 7 people, 1 dormitory for 9 people, and 1 dormitory for 10 people.
This is a “participatory” lodge offering unbeatable rates all year round!
It is neither a hotel nor a hostel. In this lodge, you are required to bring your own sleeping bag and towel, and wash your dishes (plates, glasses, and cutlery) after the meals.
You can rent a duvet with a cover at reception. (€5 per person for the stay)
Dormitories are mixed, and membership of the association is required (€7 per person per stay).
Shared bathroom facilities (showers/toilets) are available on each floor.
This is a modern, functional accommodation with pleasant communal areas, including a lounge with a fireplace and a games room with table tennis.
Free parking is available nearby, and there is a bus stop 50 metres away for the ski bus in winter or shuttle services in summer to reach hiking trailheads.
Check-in is from 5:00 pm (no earlier, please), and check-out is by 10:00 am at the latest.
