Not to be missed in Chamonix Mont Blanc!

- All year round take the Aiguille du Midi cable car at 3842 meters above sea level. Its furnished terraces offer a 360 ° view of all the French, Swiss and Italian Alps.

- Montenvers train - Mer de Glace : An imposing panorama on the la Mer de Glace Glacier and the mountains.

Not a great experience: Arrogant - non helpful - hot rooms - limited food service

Chamonix Heliopic

Easy walk to town and the gondola 🚠 to the top of Mont Blanc. Very nice,clean and tidy. Awesome staff very friendly.

Started great, ended disastrously

We called the hotel to confirm whether we could extend our stay before canceling another reservation. We were told the extension was available, so we canceled our other hotel booking. When we called again (minutes after) to confirm, we were informed the original information was incorrect. The hotel acknowledged the mistake and asked us to speak with the front desk after dinner. When we did, we were only offered a higher-priced room that required changing rooms mid-stay and did not include the view or features that were part of our original booking. At the front desk, the situation was handled dismissively and we were told to “take it or don’t.”
