Avoid This Hotel
DO NOT STAY HERE! The staff were rude, cold, and unfriendly from the moment we arrived. Our room had no windows at all, which is crazy for a hotel in Chamonix. There was also no AC, so all we had were portable fans blowing around moldy, stale-smelling air. It was miserable. The hotel is already expensive, and then they charge extra for breakfast. It’s not included and it’s overpriced. The building is very old and feels run down. It’s also in Chamonix Sud, which isn’t the best part of Chamonix. For the price they charge, this place is absolutely not worth it. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

Chamonix warmest and friendliest accommodations
Super lovely experience, I arrived in late and was greeted with a pleasant smile from Marianne who was excellent in recommending me hikes for the next day and also some place to see. I was also give a room upgrade for the first time and it really set the tone. Thank you so so much for this it was super clean and affordable. Also great breakfast and all the staff were friendly as accommodating

Bed Bug Incident: Medical Treatment Required and Significant Trip Disruption
As a physician traveling from NYC, I stayed at this property on March 22, 2026. During our first night, we discovered bed bugs in the room (documented via photo and video). My wife subsequently developed a rash and pruritus consistent with insect bites, requiring evaluation and treatment at a local clinic, including a week-long course of antibiotics. We moved to alternative accommodation immediately. However, this incident significantly disrupted our trip from the outset, as we spent much of the week seeking medical care and taking extensive precautions with our clothing and ski equipment. We reported the issue to management but were deeply disappointed by the response. Most notably, there was no inquiry about my wife’s well-being. While a night shift staff member was initially proactive at 3:00 AM—indicating that alternative lodging, medical costs, disinfection, and related expenses due to this disruption would be covered—these assurances were later retracted by the Site Director, L.B. Ultimately, compensation was limited to covering only the price difference for the alternative accommodation and medical products purchased at the pharmacy. I did not accept it. I have also contacted the parent company, Mont Blanc Collection, but have yet to receive a reply. Based on our experience, I would advise future guests to exercise caution.

Well situated hotel but poor service.
Worn down ond poor service. What ever we asked for, nothing was possible. Voucher given at check in was not possible to use for beer. Breakfast was very limited.
