Description

Les Lanchers hotel, located in the village of Les Praz, 3 km from Chamonix, was founded almost a 100 years ago. As many hotels in the valley which have contributed to welcome our visitors for several generations, this typical building now combines tradition, modernity and comfort.

The 19 uncluttered rooms are luminous, each with its own touch of color, and some with balcony or terrace, facing the majestic Aiguille des Drus or Mont-Blanc range. The bistro with terrace offers a Snack & Feast menu and drinks of all kinds.

Finally, you will appreciate to be very close to the Flégère cable car to access the Brévent-Flégère southern ski area, as well as bus stops and amenities such as sport shop, grocery, tobacco bar, post office.

Not to be missed in Chamonix Mont Blanc!

- All year round take the Aiguille du Midi cable car at 3842 meters above sea level. Its furnished terraces offer a 360 ° view of all the French, Swiss and Italian Alps.

- Montenvers train - Mer de Glace : An imposing panorama on the la Mer de Glace Glacier and the mountains.

- Brévent / Flégère gondola: Exceptional panorama facing the Mont-Blanc range.

- Planards area: In winter, take advantage of the beginner ski area starting in the town center, and all year round a summer sledge on rails and numerous games for children.

- QC Terme : Let yourself go in this SPA area with infinity pools, relaxation and dining areas in the heart of the city.

Great stay would definitely recommend!

Perfect location, ski hire next door, flejere ski lift 3 min walk and bus stop outside hotel. Room was modern, spacious and cleaned well every day with beautiful views and had a powerful shower also. Staff were super friendly and helpful and breakfast was perfect with everything you need. Great value for money and would definitely come back! Thank you Les Lanchers!

Nice hotel with great views of Mont Blanc.

The hotel is easy to find and has a public car park next door. The car park can be very busy as it serves a number of local establishments. The staff are friendly and speak good English. The rooms are large (ours was actually 2 rooms with 2 double beds) and very comfortable. Be wary of leaving the windows open for any amount of time as the room quickly fills with exhaust fumes from the passing traffic. The restaurant serves good food at a reasonable price.
