HALF DAY - BARBERINE / VALLORCINE : Minimum 10 years of age.


Whether you are very adventurous or just want a fun day out with the family, the canyon of Barberine is suitable for all levels and offers several alternatives:


- Sports Canyon: Enjoy all of the most demanding obstacles (jumps, zip line, slides) for a dynamic course, full of thrills.


- Family Canyon : you prefer to enjoy canyoning in a more chilled atmosphere? No problem, the guide will adapt the height of the jumps and abseils according to your age and your ease! There are no obligations except to have fun.


During the course you will find abseils up to 25 meters long, jumps up to 4 meters high and a zip line depending on the crowds in the canyon.


Noter for this descent:

- Period: from May to October, depending on the water level.

- Minimum age: we welcome children from 10 years old.

- Meeting point: Vallorcine, 25 minutes from Chamonix (transport not included).

- Level required: be comfortable in the water and know how to swim.

- Rate : 75€ / person


Do not forget : Bathing suit and towel.

Provided by the guide : Neoprene suit and shoes, life jacket, helmet.

Get around Vallorcine easily in winter : 

A shuttle bus runs every day between the cablecar and the Poya ski area. It serves several stops (Plan droit, Le Nant, Les Biolles, Le Couteray).

You can also take the Mont-Blanc Express train between Vallorcine and Chamonix with the guest card that will be given to you at check-in.

- Loriaz mountain pastures: With an exceptional panorama of the Aiguille Verte and the MontBlanc Massif, Loriaz alpine meadows offer the most bucolic and relaxing location imaginable!

- Berard waterfall (summer): A short walk brings you to the entrance of the wild valley of Berard and the impressive waterfall of the same name. Twenty minutes from Le Buet station.
