Enjoy your very first skiing experience with a professional. A 2-hour session, on your own, as a couple, or with friends in Argentière. Your ski instructor will teach you the right movements, technique, confidence, gliding skills… and, quite simply, the pleasure of skiing — without having to worry about equipment or clothing.
The beginner ski area in Argentière is brand new for the 2026–2027 season: a fun area, perfectly suited to learning to ski, with beautiful views.
Location: Argentière – Lognan, at 1,950 m altitude. Guaranteed soft snow!
Meeting point: Please meet at the SKIMIUM shop at 8:45am, 11:15am or 1:45pm, depending on your session time. You will then meet your ski instructor at the top of the Grands Montets gondola at 9:30am, 12:00pm or 2:30pm.
Duration: 2 hours with a private ski instructor.
Equipment: The SKIMIUM Les Grands Montets shop will provide you with skis, poles, ski boots, helmet, ski goggles, ski jacket and ski trousers, and will also give you your ski pass.
Level / Age: Suitable for anyone from 1.50 m tall: teenagers, adults, seniors, or groups.
Validity: From early December 2026 to Sunday 2 May 2027, depending on snow conditions.
Beginner ski pass: “Day” package included.
How to get there: By bus with line 2, SKI 2, SKI 15, or by train.
By car: Free parking at Les Grands Montets.
On site: Bar and restaurant.
