THIS STAGE MIXES YOUNG ADULTS AND ADULTS (18-39 years)
Confirmed runner, you want to progress and prepare for competitions.
On the program: Running and hiking in the mountains on the trails of the Mont-Blanc marathon, training sessions (hiking course, micro circuit, vertical kilometer, fartlek ...), advice (training, physical preparation, equipment) and stretching.
You will be coached by an instructor specially trained by biomechanics and physical trainers specialized in the world of trail and athletics.
Course from 20 to 30 km. 800 to 1,500 meters of vertical drop.
The Argentiere UCPA centre is located in Argentiere, not far from the Grands Montets cablecar departure.
Composed by 3 historical buildings, it has been entirely renewed.
300 beds on 4 floors, large rooms with 4, 5 or 6 beds and equipped with a washbasin ; shower and toilets on the floor.
This comfortable centre is surrounded by a woody park and equipped by a sauna, a climbing room, a dinning room with terrace facing Mont-Blanc and a large entertainment space with a bar.
TO NOTE: DURING YOUR STAY AT THE UCPA, EVERYONE PARTICIPATES
— There is no room service. Bedlinen is provided but towels are not.
— At the end of the stay, everybody "refreshes" his room and puts the bedsheets in the linen basket.
— In the dinning room, no waiter and everybody helps himself
Rooms are at disposal from 6.00pm the day of arrival to 9.00am the day of departure.
Luggage store at disposal.
- Night in a collective shared room from 4 to 6 persons. Shower and toilets on the floor.
- Full board (from dinner on Sunday till breakfast on Saturday, lunchbox during the week)

If you arrive by car:
Autoroute blanche till Chamonix and then national road RN506 till Argentiere, located 8km after Chamonix. No carpark inside the center.
If you arrive by train:
The Argentiere train station is 50m from the UCPA.

Technical level: Level 2
You run 3 times a week.
You are able to run 2h without stopping.
You have already run half-marathons or short trails (10-25 km).
Technical level: Level 3
You train 3 or 4 times a week.
You are able to run 4h without stopping.
You have already run marathons or medium-distance trails (30-45 km).

For the success of the internship, so that everyone benefits fully as well as for reasons of safety, it is necessary that you have the required levels. If this is not the case, our coaching may refuse to allow you to follow the program. It may not be possible to offer a replacement program and we will not be able to reimburse your internship.
